Mummy, what lives in here?

Tractors!

Image
We went out of London for the day- down to a National Trust property, Petworth House . And as we were coming home, we spied a great, hand written sign: Toys, Tractors and Tools- for sale. The store, off the road a bit, did sell toys- small metal tractors and diggers. And also the big ones for running a farm, which C found rather intriguing. We bought one. A small one.

Moo-Moo

I got another set of Moo pictures in the post today. These are great. If you have a flickr account , you can link to Moo and crop and print your fotos. 100 for $20 (or £10) little 1 inch by 3 inch cards. Brilliant.

Like son, like father

C and I shared our spaghetti lunch after my tri training today.

Feeding the animals

C and I stopped to feed the squirrels and pigeons at Brompton Cemetery (map here ) before meeting Jack for breakfast on Saturday .

Back to the scene of the crime

Image
On Saturday, C and I met Jack at The Troubadour for breakfast. Jack had a few of his mates there who happen to be young and single. The conversation mostly turned on pub crawls, chasing girls and sleeping late- all things that C needs to learn at some point. I had very little to contribute, of course. But it did work for C- we caught him waving to a French girl his age later on. I say "back to the scene of the crime" because Jack and I met at Troubes the night C was born to wet his head .

A belated Happy Fourth of July

Here's C waving flags in celebration of his parents wedding anniversary.

Wet in Wales

The last thing we did before driving back to London was visit a spectacular waterfall. It emerged from under a farmers field actually, which is believable after the cave tour we took the day before.

Rossilly Bay, Wales

While I surfed, B and C played in the warm sun and sand.

CRP in Thailand

I have an uncle, Danny, who spends half of his time working and the other half travelling the world. He's been doing this for years and is very good at it. Last year, he found himself in Thailand- Ko Tao Island to be specific. While there, he wrote this and then had the foresight to snap a few pictures. It is on the inside of this VW Bus turned into a bar. C doesn't appreciate yet how lucky he is: Blessed at St. Paul's Cathedral in London AND immortalised on the side of a bus/bar in Thailand.
