Park, Park, Park & Park

Uncle Nate discovered the Brookwood Memorial Cemetary outside of London.  It contains the remains of Americans killed in World War I. It is very well kept and in a lovely, tranquil forest of pines. God bless America.

My very good friend from Kansas City- Vince Gauthier- came into London for this past week. He's an architect and is on a project at the US Ambassadors residence. He joined us for the weekend. That included cricket, bbq and lots of activity with the kids.

We've  had our VW Golf for longer than C.  And now it's gone. At the very end, it gave up the ghost... We found it with a flat tire 2 days ago.  And it was starting to make funny noises, which complemented the moss growing on it. The dealer gave us a whopping £50 pounds for it against our new used car-  a Nissan Quashkai.

C had his second match today.  He did well bowling- one of the better players.

Bella's brother Adrian came for dinner last night.  It was a lovely summer evening and great to catch up with Tilly and Lindsay.
