D left this morning for three days away at school camp. Lots of fun activities, while the kids learn to be away from home and parents, many for the first time. And it's her birthday today, so we opened a few presents before she left. She's heard about all the fun C had, so she was looking forward to the experience.
D had her ballet exam yesterday, which sounds as though it went well. The living room has been Practice Stage 1 for the last few weeks. And some evenings we hear prancing from her bedroom, when she should be in bed.
C's entire class- parents, siblings and friends- all congregated in the woods of Surrey for 24 hours. Games, singing, bon fires, eating, drinking were the orders of the day. Everyone had a great time. Even the sleeping in tents worked out well.
D is studying the Vikings at school right now. So we took a trip north of Gothenburg to a museum and outdoor display of life in and before the Bronze Age.
We went about 10 miles outside Gothenburg today to see some of Bella's clients- Helene and Olaf (and their kids Ben and Ellie). They have a beautiful house, on a lake, in an idyllic setting. We all had a lovely time.
