Park, Park, Park & Park

C and D were around the past week, for their school holidays.  Lots of food was eaten and wash done.  D spent her time balancing working and studying. I ran C back down to Falmouth over the weekend, in the driving rain.

We're down at Polesden Lacey, a National Trust property, for a bit of a walk.

We spent Saturday at Manchester Metropolitan University.  D is considering the sports marketing program up north.

We sponteneously journeyed down to Falmouth to see Christian.  This meant a morning dip in the very cold sea.

A spontaneous trip south to Selsey resulted in a walk along the coast, an afternoon on the beach, a great pub dinner and a night in a shepherds hut.

First match of the season.  Area around the stadium is packed and excited.

D decided she'd make a Jamie Oliver meal last night for us- chicken and mango wrapped in lettuce. Turned out great. I was sous chef, photographer and head dish washer.

Up at Adrian and Linsey's house for the weekend.

There's a company called GoBoat that rents electric boats from Paddington.  It's a great trip on the canal around Little Venice.   Here we are with one of Bella's  Swedish clients today.

England Women in the Euro Final tonight, against Spain.

Sword Beach. Normandy, France.  Killing time before the ferry back to the UK.

Christian and his girlfriend Iona arrived late last night.

We're outside Bordeaux, in a town called Langorian, where the house is built into the wall of an old chateau.

D and some friends went up to Wembley for the concert last night.  

The school threw a music festival for all the kids and parents to end the year.  Here's D rockin out!

She turned 17, gathered her friends and journeyed into London for dinner.

C is with his school pal Ollie travelling by backpack south through Viet Nam.  They'll end up in Singapore in a month.

The boy flies with Ollie this morning and is away a month.  They travel into Hanoi, and then down through the peninsula to Singapore.

I spent Saturday cleaning out my shed.  And then spent Saturday evening having a quiet drink in my shed.

C leaves tomorrow for Oxfordshire for a summer job, and D goes back to Seaford.  Last time all together until likely July.

One of grandpa's bottles was resistant to more traditional opening methodologies...

Up in the Yorkshire Dales with Mom, Dad and D.  Malham Cove was the next stop.

We all journeyed down to Seaford over the weekend for The Addams Family.  D was a dancer in all 4 performances.

Down in Petworth, Sussex, at The Crown.

D ran laps at the park today in the warm sun.

C and his mates and their kit all packed into his room in Falmouth.

Into Covent Garden for vintage clothes, then a lift to the tube with a neon, high volume bike ride.

D and I ventured out to Brick Lane today, searching for vintages clothes- found nothing good. But we were the coolest looking people out there.

Both kids made their way back to their respective schools on Sunday.  House was a little quiet come Monday morning. Here's Uncle Nate dropping D off in her boarding room at Seaford.
