A bit of British history?
We journeyed out of London this morning to Runnymede, which is the location where the Magna Carta was signed. Well done for teaching C about British history, you say?
Well, here he is in front of the American Bar Association Memorial to the Magna Carta.
And here he is in front of the JFK Memorial. It's actually in the middle of an acre of land designated as American soil, within Runnymede Park.
And here's the plaque for the oak tree planted with American soil from Jamestown.
After all of this, it was just overkill to go to the Allied Air Force Memorial.
See here for C's past experience with American Memorials in the UK.
