Mothering Sunday

Last Sunday was Mothering Sunday in the UK.

As you would expect, the kids took it seriously.  Up before 8am, and down to the kitchen to make Mum hot porridge in bed.

D did her part for the greater Mum community. Saturday morning, she made little bouquets of flowers at St Barnabas to hand out at the Sunday service.

Sunday afternoon we drove out to the country pile of the RAC for a lovely lunch.  The kids complained slightly about having to dress "posh" though.

To placate them, we all went for a healthy splash and swim after our roast lunch.
