Waddesdon Manor and Adrian

Image
We found ourselves out at another National Trust property yesterday- Waddesdon Manor . It was the first beautiful day of the year. Lunch was served on picnic tables with race cars and a track. Here's C dreaming of the days when he can drive convertibles down country lanes in the sunshine. Later that night, Adrian and Casper (Bella's brother and cousin) came by the house to wish Bella a Happy Birthday.

"We drink, they fall around"

Here's footage of us at The Quintons last Friday. Edwards' comment is correct:

Bath time at the Quintons

As per our usual Friday meet-up ( here's the last time ), The Quinton Household played host to bath time tonight. And as usual, Elise is less impressed with the males- dressed or undressed.

A bit of British history?

Image
We journeyed out of London this morning to Runnymede , which is the location where the Magna Carta was signed. Well done for teaching C about British history, you say? Well, here he is in front of the American Bar Association Memorial to the Magna Carta. And here he is in front of the JFK Memorial. It's actually in the middle of an acre of land designated as American soil, within Runnymede Park. And here's the plaque for the oak tree planted with American soil from Jamestown. After all of this, it was just overkill to go to the Allied Air Force Memorial. See here for C's past experience with American Memorials in the UK.

As I get home

Bells has been spending some time at home this week. When I get home, this is pretty close to what I see everyday. And then this running towards the door.
