Park, Park, Park & Park

I decided to spend my 40th birthday with the family. And going to places we could all enjoy. So, we went for a good stomp at a National Trust property, which also happened to be where I did my MBA- Ashridge . You can see it in the background, behind the kids. And then went for a great pub lunch- one of the favorite pubs from my time at Ashridge- The Alford Arms . And then back to London- for home-made Honey Cake.

Bella and I took Dorothy to our local GP today for her routine check-up. She's a healthy, growing baby, although she is still considered petite. The stats are: Weight- 6.9 kg (15 1/4 lbs) Updated Length- 68 cm (26 3/4 in) She also made it into the recent Ashridge Alumni magazine; see here .

D's hand in mine, following on from here . She has her 8 month check-up tomorrow, so stats then.

Harking back to past posts about C's proportion- here and here - I thought it was about time for an update. Current height: 39 1/2 inches (about 1 meter) Current weight: 32 pounds Current favorite song: Lucas the Lazy Lion Dorothy's growth to follow in a few days.

We spent last weekend in Devon, visiting family and friends. And the highlight for C was staying in a thatched cottage with plenty of garden to explore. D got to meet Mieke Champernown (a close cousin- in the lavender hat to the left) and Elinor Murphy (Bella's Godmother- in red below). Both are quite energetic for their age, and took on walking tours of their respective patches.
