Bells sat down with C to watch the Inauguration today. As an American citizen, it's important for him to experience things like this. At the end, C turned to Bells and asked: When is Southfields getting a new President, Mummy? We're off to the US later this spring- news to follow shortly.

D has successfully dropped her 10:30 feed. We tried it on Friday night. Saturday night, we went to a dinner party, not returning until 11:30. We arrived home and the babysitter said D had no complaints. With a little luck, she'll now sleep straight through from 8pm to 7am.

Les the Dustman (garbageman for the Americans) brought C a Christmas gift. Of course, it was a garbage truck! C did write a thank you note which he handed to Les, rather than just put it in the trash.

My parents have started a new Christmas tradition for C and D- Pajamas! Each year, a new set will arrive for Christmas Eve. Here's C smartly showing this years fashion.
