Park, Park, Park & Park

After a 2 mile hike at 1800m above sea level.

Just outside our villa, half way between the ocean and the mountain tops.

I'm now in Hamburg for a birthday party. Philipp and I met at Ashridge during the MBA.  As he mentioned during his speech last night, one of the first things we learned about each other is that we share the same birthday. My friend Jack and I came over for a surprise 40th birthday party for PJ and have been having a great time.

...at a fusion resturant- Asia de Cuba.  Very good. Now seeing Sir Kenneth Branaugh and Rob Brydon at the theatre- The Painkiller.

Off to a Swedish restaurant for herring and cinnamon buns.

Our very good friend Michael Johnson gave us a set of very old "Works of Lord Byron".  They live in a special cabinet. Last night in a fit of sponteneity during our regular Friday Night Family Drinks Party, we took one out.  Each of us read a small section of Childe Harold's Pilgrimage.

Following our trip to the US Embassy 3 weeks ago, C's renewed came in the post.  Good until 2021.
