Gothenburg Day 2

Image
What a day, and what a city! We (I actually) started the day with a run in the drizzle to the sea for a quick, cold dip. Then the tram into town, where we spent the first half of the day at the Science Museum. It has a cascading 4 floors of indoor rain forest- very impressive. Then off to Liesburg Park- an amusement park right in city center.  C rode his first roller coaster- full of enjoyment. And then through a thoroughly scary haunted house. This is pudding!

Day 1 in Gothenburg

We're staying south of the "centrum"- in a rural, coastal area (airBnB is perfect for finds like this).  Here are the kids, atop some granite, overlooking a harbour and islands. It's 945pm and it's still pretty light out, by the way.

Friends at the RAC

Mike and Di joined the RAC recently, so we all made an excursion to Epsom today. After a lovely lunch (kids at one table, adults at the other), we partook in a cleansing mineral bath- or dived in the pool.  This is Charlie, Pen and the rest of us overlooking the golf course.
