Big cast, small injury

C seems to have fractured a bone in his thumb. It happened 10 days ago, when he went over the handle bars of his bike.  Although he's had some pain, it did slow him down from kayaking in Norfolk.  But today, a "maybe we should just get a quick xray" thought led to 3 hours at the hospital.
