Got your message - sorry we weren't here! Going crazy with last minute details - such as "wonder if the dry cleaner will get my wedding stuff back to me in time" and "do our guests realize that they change time zones when coming from Chicago?" and "will the place that is taking my cat be open when I drop him off on my way out of town?". Looking forward to having this thing go off without a hitch and heading to Hawaii to lay still for 10 days. Check back in August for photos uploaded to www.JohnAndJulieSayIdo.com - talk to you sometime soon!
We walked three miles along the beach and through the woods to reach this place. Once there, we devoured barnacles, goat, fish, steak and razor clams. Washed down with coke, beer and regional white wine. And then grandma's chocolate cake, cheese and honey and coffees for the walk back.
Dorothy Wijnanda Park has finally arrived. A healthy, petite (6lb, 7 oz) baby was born at 1:18 pm today, 28th of June. Baby and mother are both recovering from the delivery at Kingston Hospital in fine form. The first Park female on this branch of the family in 5 generations gets her name from my grandmother (Dorothy M. Baetcke Park) and a relative on Bella's side (Isabella Dorothea Akers). And also inherits Bella's middle name. Any advice on coping with daughters is heartily welcomed by the father.
Here she is before school, ready with her birthday badge. We all went out for a celebratory dinner- Indian food. And we git the entire resturant to sing Happy Birthday to her.
