D's English blessing

Since we did a christening in the US, we thought we should do a church blessing here in the UK to balance things out.
Here is Uncle Adrian.


Sunday, the 31st of May, we gathered Godparents and family at St. Barnabas here in Southfields. And then had a bit of champers back at the house.

She arrives!

Dorothy Wijnanda Park has finally arrived. A healthy, petite (6lb, 7 oz) baby was born at 1:18 pm today, 28th of June. Baby and mother are both recovering from the delivery at Kingston Hospital in fine form. The first Park female on this branch of the family in 5 generations gets her name from my grandmother (Dorothy M. Baetcke Park) and a relative on Bella's side (Isabella Dorothea Akers). And also inherits Bella's middle name. Any advice on coping with daughters is heartily welcomed by the father.

D's 8th Birthday

Here she is before school, ready with her birthday badge. We all went out for a celebratory dinner- Indian food.  And we git the entire resturant to sing Happy Birthday to her.
