David, Camellia, Sari and Jonathan


We spent a lovely time with David and Camellia- family friends from Bella's side. They live in Wales, just around Cardiff. We visited the beach at Rest Bay, Saint Fagans National History Museum grounds, and even Caerphilly Castle.


And here we are with Sari (friend of Bells from school), Jonathan, and their kids Jack and Zoe at the end of an action-packed day.

She arrives!

Dorothy Wijnanda Park has finally arrived. A healthy, petite (6lb, 7 oz) baby was born at 1:18 pm today, 28th of June. Baby and mother are both recovering from the delivery at Kingston Hospital in fine form. The first Park female on this branch of the family in 5 generations gets her name from my grandmother (Dorothy M. Baetcke Park) and a relative on Bella's side (Isabella Dorothea Akers). And also inherits Bella's middle name. Any advice on coping with daughters is heartily welcomed by the father.

D's 8th Birthday

Here she is before school, ready with her birthday badge. We all went out for a celebratory dinner- Indian food.  And we git the entire resturant to sing Happy Birthday to her.
