A Day Out in Sunny London

We all trained it into Central London for a whirl wind tour today.  This picture sums it up.


We started with some simple but good tapas for lunch at a Bermondsey marketplace, specifically on Maltby Street.  And found a great antiques store.

Then moved on towards the river near Tower Bridge and the HMS Belfast.

And then all hopped a Routemaster bus (the ones open at the back) and made our way to Covent Garden.

It turned into a great time to see street performers- unicycle jugglers, tightrope jugglers and musicians.  Followed by ice cream!

Both kids did a fair bit of walking without much complaining.

She arrives!

Dorothy Wijnanda Park has finally arrived. A healthy, petite (6lb, 7 oz) baby was born at 1:18 pm today, 28th of June. Baby and mother are both recovering from the delivery at Kingston Hospital in fine form. The first Park female on this branch of the family in 5 generations gets her name from my grandmother (Dorothy M. Baetcke Park) and a relative on Bella's side (Isabella Dorothea Akers). And also inherits Bella's middle name. Any advice on coping with daughters is heartily welcomed by the father.
