Lunch with Friends and Dogs

We had several of Bella's work colleagues over for a lovely poached salmon, with a bit of English champange beforehand, today.

Ian and Ed brought their newest member of the family- Dora the 6 month old Dauchound.

The kids were taken with her. And she helped D overcome her fear of dogs.

She arrives!

Dorothy Wijnanda Park has finally arrived. A healthy, petite (6lb, 7 oz) baby was born at 1:18 pm today, 28th of June. Baby and mother are both recovering from the delivery at Kingston Hospital in fine form. The first Park female on this branch of the family in 5 generations gets her name from my grandmother (Dorothy M. Baetcke Park) and a relative on Bella's side (Isabella Dorothea Akers). And also inherits Bella's middle name. Any advice on coping with daughters is heartily welcomed by the father.

D's 8th Birthday

Here she is before school, ready with her birthday badge. We all went out for a celebratory dinner- Indian food.  And we git the entire resturant to sing Happy Birthday to her.
