The Craziness of Dad in Charge

My daily routine is a satisfactory one- breakfast with C, take C to school, work, pick up C, find things to do with C until dinner. The things we do range from park trips to B&Q trips to other odds and ends.

Earlier this week, we decided to do face painting. It went a bit far- like down the body far. We painted each other, so I look equally as bad/mean.

He is the most scary pirate (!?!) ever! And I have video for the future.

This one may just come out to show his prom date.

She arrives!

Dorothy Wijnanda Park has finally arrived. A healthy, petite (6lb, 7 oz) baby was born at 1:18 pm today, 28th of June. Baby and mother are both recovering from the delivery at Kingston Hospital in fine form. The first Park female on this branch of the family in 5 generations gets her name from my grandmother (Dorothy M. Baetcke Park) and a relative on Bella's side (Isabella Dorothea Akers). And also inherits Bella's middle name. Any advice on coping with daughters is heartily welcomed by the father.

D's 8th Birthday

Here she is before school, ready with her birthday badge. We all went out for a celebratory dinner- Indian food.  And we git the entire resturant to sing Happy Birthday to her.
