The Happy Return of Judith


Back here, Mark, Judith and Logan came to town from Washington DC. Logan is about the same age as D, and about the same size, it turns out.

Judith arrived Sunday for a short business trip, so we re-acquainted her with the kids and Southfields.

She got a taste of St. Barnabas' Guy Fawkes fireworks (weak) and Bells' famous Butternut Squash soup (strong).

The kids acted like monkeys most of the time.

She arrives!

Dorothy Wijnanda Park has finally arrived. A healthy, petite (6lb, 7 oz) baby was born at 1:18 pm today, 28th of June. Baby and mother are both recovering from the delivery at Kingston Hospital in fine form. The first Park female on this branch of the family in 5 generations gets her name from my grandmother (Dorothy M. Baetcke Park) and a relative on Bella's side (Isabella Dorothea Akers). And also inherits Bella's middle name. Any advice on coping with daughters is heartily welcomed by the father.

D's 8th Birthday

Here she is before school, ready with her birthday badge. We all went out for a celebratory dinner- Indian food.  And we git the entire resturant to sing Happy Birthday to her.
