D and Sheringdale

D starts are the local primary school this fall- soon after we get back from the US.  To get the kids ready, they have some parent/child acclimation times.   She seems to have enjoyed them.  And she'll have plenty of company from kids on our street to friends from nursery. 

C is also moving.  Up the stairs for next year.  A big step up with the Big Boys.

She arrives!

Dorothy Wijnanda Park has finally arrived. A healthy, petite (6lb, 7 oz) baby was born at 1:18 pm today, 28th of June. Baby and mother are both recovering from the delivery at Kingston Hospital in fine form. The first Park female on this branch of the family in 5 generations gets her name from my grandmother (Dorothy M. Baetcke Park) and a relative on Bella's side (Isabella Dorothea Akers). And also inherits Bella's middle name. Any advice on coping with daughters is heartily welcomed by the father.

D's 8th Birthday

Here she is before school, ready with her birthday badge. We all went out for a celebratory dinner- Indian food.  And we git the entire resturant to sing Happy Birthday to her.
